A day at the Beach

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Old Orchard Beach . It was so warm and beautiful, and the water was actually nice. This is an album so open the picture and you can see the family playing.

Recycling (tending the garden)

Ever thought about how much we throw away. Challenge: See how you can reduce your trash. We have gone from 3-4 trash bags a week to 1 - 1.5 a week. I'd like to get down to one bag every 2 weeks. Things to recycle: -almost all paper -tin cans (remove labels please and recycle label) -#2 plastic (only buy things in #2 plastic and that reduces trash) -glass jars Things to think about: -only buy what you need -reuse containers (my kids like to decorate them) -pay bills online (reduces paper) -repair what can be fixed And the list goes on......
